The above PDF’s was tested with a slick install of Windows Media Center 2004 on top of Windows Media Center Edition 2002 SP1. You will have to be at Service Pack 2 which I would strongly recommend from a Security Perspective but also some of the software such as Windows Media Player 11 will require it. This install was tested multiple times by reloading the Toshiba Image to make sure all dependences were met and to test the installation instructions. Please read through the document first to make sure which parts you may or may not need to do as this guide is hefty. I created this guide as a comprehensive guide to solve most issues you could possibly run into installing th Zune Software v2 on a Media Center PC. The two above PDF’s are the same in quality but the larger one has more Adobe PDF Features included. Our Test Environment

This was tested with a slick install of Windows Media Center 2004 on top of Windows Media Center Edition 2002 SP1 as shown below on a Toshiba laptop.

You will have to be at SP2 which I would strongly recommend from a Security Perspective but also some of the software such as Windows Media Player 11 will require it.
